If you would like to truly master Vi in order to counter Volibear during both the early game and mid / late game phases of League of Legends, you should keep reading to pick up a few extra tips and tricks for this matchup. If you listen to the build and suggestions presented above, you should increase your win rate significantly and be that much closer to League of Legends pro players.

Vi typically racks up a lot less CS as Volibear. Champions who on average don't acquire many minion kills usualy don't have to have much CS to be valuable teammates, such as supports. They are capable of scaling well off of their skills, stats, and first items alone. Yet, champions with a lot of CS, such as hyper-carries, often require a lot of items to be effective. In either case, try to exceed the values displayed on this page to do well.

The best items to use in your Vi versus Volibear build include Cuchilla negra, Fauces de Malmortius, and Firmamento desgarrado. When Vi included at least these three items in her build, she did much better vs. Volibear than with many other common counter builds. In fact, Vi boasted an average winrate of 55.2% when countering Volibear with these items in her kit.
