Overall, Shen sees a very large drop in his KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Fizz. His KDA decreased from NaN to NaN. This fall shows that Fizz helps Shen perform not as well in ranked LoL matches. Yet, the small difference proves that this performance change is not very impactful.
When Shen is an ally to Fizz, he observes a marginal improvement in his total damage dealt. This may signal that Fizz supports by providing cover for him to deal more damage or that his presence also helps extend the match's duration. Similarly, when Shen is played together with Fizz on the same team, he usually scores many fewer killing sprees compared to when he plays alone. There is no ideal ally for Shen that will no matter what be his #1 ally. However, Fizz is a pretty good ally for Shen. By locking into the same team as Shen, he increases their win rate by 2.5% to 52.2%. This shows that there is pretty good bond between Shen and Fizz that allows them to perform better together than without each other.
Fizz has a greater difficulty than Shen. That means Shen players should be very careful when arranging Fizz allies to go into battle on the same side as, as they will need a greater level of skill to be able to do well with you.
Playing cooperatively, you will likely observe an overall large increase in your team’s ability to soak up damage. Combined, these champions might be able to provide enough cover for their team's carries.
