Paying attention to last hitting with Siphoning Strike will have a large impact at the end of a game.
If you're solo, Spirit Fire is a great way to farm a lane. It can be bad if you're in a lane with 2 and you push too far. Find the right balance between Siphoning Strike last hits and AoE farming.
If you have low defenses, people will focus you down even during your ultimate. Try buying some survivability items even in your DPS builds.
Fizz's spells scale off Ability Power - consider getting items like Zhonya's Hourglass or Banshee's Veil against teams that have high burst threat - and items like Lich Bane or Rabadon's Deathcap if you think you can survive without the Health.
Since Fizz can move through units, find opportunities in lane to walk through minions and apply Seastone Trident's passive - following it up with the ability's active attack after a few seconds.

When Nasus plays on the same team as Fizz, he sees a little increase in his full damage dealt. Similarly, when Nasus is played with Fizz on the same team, he usually scores many fewer killing sprees than when he plays on his own. This is contrasting evidence that he is worse when playing with Fizz.
Moreover, when Nasus plays with Fizz on the same team, he usually receives a little more damage than when he fights alone. Taking more damage may mean that Fizz does a poor job of protecting Nasus in teamfights.
There is no ideal synergy for Nasus that will always be his ideal teammate. Yet, overall, Fizz is a pretty good ally for Nasus. By locking into the same side as Nasus, he raises their win rate by 2.6% to 52.9%. This signals that there is a good bond between Nasus and Fizz that results in them performing better together than without each other.
Fizz has a lower difficulty than Nasus. That means you don't need to be cautious when finding Fizz allies to go into battle on the same side as, as they will need a relatively low level of skill to fight well with you.
Playing cooperatively, you should expect to witness an overall large increase in your team’s capacity to destroy wih physical damage. When paired, these champs should be able to take down targets with auto-attacks and other AD damage abilities.
Although, by aligning Nasus and Fizz together, you may not be giving your other teammates enough utility. We recommend you bring other champs on your team that nullifies this disparity in their capabilities.
