Be very careful about when to use Life Form Disintegration Ray. Many champions have abilities that can interrupt the spell.
Shooting Plasma Fission diagonally and splitting at maximum range allows you to hit opponents that are out of the range of the initial missile, but is more challenging to pull off.

Overall, Vel'Koz sees a very large drop in his KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Tristana. His KDA worsened from NaN to NaN. This fall shows that Tristana helps Vel'Koz perform poorer in ranked LoL rounds. Yet, the small difference shows that this performance change is only marginal.
When Vel'Koz is an ally to Tristana, he observes a barely noticable drop in his full damage dealt.
