Vex Counters

The greatest champs outside of lane to counter Vex include Xayah, Kai'Sa, and Tristana. These are all good at countering Vex with win rates over 57%. Even if these Vex counter picks are not played in the same position as you, it's not smart to take them into any of these matchups. They will often destroy Vex.

Conversely, if the opposite team brings either Seraphine or Ivern, Vex mains should seriously consider choosing them, as they easily wins against these selections with win rates over 53% against both ofthem.

Focus on wave clearing and conserving mana during the early game. Even though Vex has a good wave clear, she struggles against champions with superior range and damage.

Take advantage of her vulnerability against champions with dashes. Maximizing damage output can be really challenging for Vex when laning this type of opponent, turning this into an opportunity for you.

Always be alert when Vex hits level 3 as she gets access to all her abilities and could play more aggressively to make a play. Similarly, another spike in her power comes when she unlocks her ultimate R at level 6 mark.

Be cautious once Vex reaches level 9 as she maxes her first ability, making her stronger in lane. This could increase her trading potential and damage output.

In the mid-game, Vex becomes a big threat as she is effective in team fights. Anticipate this and prepare strategies to counter her involvement.

Be aware of her power surge at levels 14 and 16 when she finishes upgrading her second ability and puts the third point in her ultimate R respectively. This elevates her threat level again.

If Vex starts to get ahead, try setting up death brushes. Her W can easily fear enemies when combined with her passive. This could help you blow her up, bring you back into the match, and even win the game.
