Tips for Playing as Karma with Vex
Don't be too conservative with Mantra. Gathering Fire is strongest in teamfights, making it easy to recharge Mantra multiple times.
Gathering Fire rewards aggressive play. Look to land abilities and basic attacks on your opponent to lower Mantra's cooldown and stay on the offensive.
When using Focused Resolve, slow your opponents with Inner Flame or speed yourself up with Inspire if you're having trouble sticking to a target.

Overall, Karma sees a very large drop in her KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Vex. His KDA decreased from NaN to NaN. This decrease shows that Vex helps Karma perform not as well in ranked LoL rounds. Yet, the small difference demonstrates that this performance change is only marginal.
When Karma tries to synergize with Vex, she gets a noticable drop in her total damage dealt. This difference could signal that Vex does not help cover for her to deal more damage or that their presence on the team also helps extend the round's duration. Similarly, when Karma is played together with Vex on the same team, he usually scores many fewer killing sprees compared to when she plays on his own. This is contrasting evidence that she is worse when playing synergisticly with Vex.
Additionally, when Karma plays with Vex on the same team, she on average receives a little more damage than when she plays alone. Getting dealt more damage could mean that Vex does a poor job of protecting Karma during team fights.

Is Karma better when played alongside Vex?
There is no top synergy for Karma that will 100% of the time be her top ally. Yet, Vex is a relatively poor teammate for Karma. By locking into the same side as Karma, they decreases their win rate by -1.7% to 46.6%. This demonstrates that there is a bad strategic relationship between Karma and Vex that results in them performing worse together than alone.
Vex has a much lower diffuclty than Karma. That means Karma players don't need to be very careful when lining up Vex allies to fight alongside, as they will need a much lower level of skill to be able to do well with you.
Fighting alongside, you should expect to observe an overall large increase in your team’s ability to provide utility and CC for your side. When paired, these two should be able to manipulate the pace of team fights.
Although, by aligning Karma and Vex together, you may not be providing your side enough AD. We recommend you include other champions on your team that nullifies this relative disparity in their potential.
Regardless of the ability of your Vex ally, you need to focus on maximizing your income, outlasting your enemies, and clearing objectives. If you follow these simple suggestions, you should do well anyway.
