Try to take advantage of Piercing Arrow's very long range to snipe at enemy champions before a fight or as they're trying to flee.
An early point in Blighted Quiver helps harass enemy champions and get killing blows on minions.

Overall, Varus sees a very large drop in his KDA (ratio of kills and assists to deaths) when paired with Ekko. His KDA worsened from NaN to NaN. This drop shows that Ekko helps Varus perform not as well in ranked LoL matches. Yet, the small difference shows that this performance change is only marginal.
When Varus tries to synergize with Ekko, he sees a small increase in his complete damage dealt. There is no perfect ally for Varus that will always be his top synergy. Yet, Ekko is a decent teammate for Varus. By locking into the same team as Varus, he improves their win rate by 1.1% to 49.5%. This clearly indicates that there is a somewhat important bond between Varus and Ekko that results in them performing at the top of their game together than alone.
Ekko has a much greater difficulty compared to Varus. That means Varus players must be cautious when finding Ekko comrades to play with, as they will need a much higher level of skill to play well with you.
When playing alongside, you should witness an overall large increase in your team’s ability to dish out massive AD. When paired, these champions should be able to take down targets with auto-attacks and other AD damage abilities.
