TFT Hellion Class Guidance
- The Hellion trait combines well with Abomination. This is because the Abomination spawns after 3 champions die. Hellions are very fragile and die quickly, but they are easily replaced by their innate passive.
- Traits like Hellion, which lack any assassin champions, can be difficult to win with in the late game. This is because many enemy team comps will start to build around one or two high damage-dealing, backline champions that will be hard to reach with low HP front-line attackers, like most Hellions.
- Hellion's may not need very many dedicated tank champions. Often Poppy (and maybe one more) can suffice. When each Hellion dies, it spawns another Dopplehellion. These can be very effective meat shields to allow your carries more time to wreak havok.
Do you get Dopplehellions spawning from other Dopplehellions if the initial Hellion was a high enough level?
No, unfortunately, Hellion dopplegangers don't spawn additional dopplegangers. The spawned creatures still have only one level reduction, so if you are spawning from a level 3 death, the spawned creature will still be a powerful level 2 Hellion.
